WARDROBE RAID: Mustard & Pearls

I love pearls. More importantly I LOVE CHANEL PEARLS. However I rarely dress up to the 9's (more often than not I am wearing jeans and a tee if not a tracksuit) so I am trying to work out how to dress down my Chanel pearls so i can wear them more often.

Heres one of my potential looks for a Friday night dinner.

WARDROBE RAID: Neon with pastels?

I am ALWAYS wearing the same thing. I mean like always. Blue jeans and black tee. So I decided to experiment with my wardrobe and my new mannequin. 

I started putting together a neon look however got distracted. I had to hang up my sass & bide raffia jacket so it does not get ruined and dumped it on top of the mannequin and actually liked what I saw. So here it is... a new trend.

TOP: Bebe neon satin cami. Bought from Dubai mall for about $50. I dont usually buy/wear satin but this top felt really silky and it came out before the Neon trend hit.

To continue with our special report I am going to showcase designer neon bags from Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Hermes and more.

SPECIAL REPORT: Neon yellow. The trend that wont die.

I admit I really thought the Neon yellow trend would be over now. Its now winter. It raining almost every day. Its gloomy. Yet the neon yellow trend is stronger than ever with most retailers getting loads of stock in to keep up with the demand.

My beloved Neon Yellow Piagelle have completely sold out, so have the Neon Casadei skyscraper pumps I had my eye on. I have been left with some cheap options though they just did not do it for me. However Wanted Shoes (a cheap shoe store based in Australia) just bought out a half decent paid of Neon heels for $59 which I purchased today which inspired me to get back in touch with the neon trend I almost gave up on.

To begin this report I am posting some of my fave photographs of neon.

Next is my favourite topic - SHOES! No outfit is complete without a statement pair of shoes. here are a few of my neon favourites. They include Casadei, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and more.

I want to know where to buy pieces like pictured in this shoot. The Chanel stores I go to always couture that I can swim in. I guess I just need to be patient and wait for a hip collection to come my way.
